What does a comprehensive blood panel test for?
What getsmeasured,and why.
A screening panel is short because it is looking for disease. A comprehensive panel is longer because it is looking for the things that quietly limit how you feel and perform: metabolic health, hormones, nutrient status, inflammation, blood sugar regulation and liver health.
Screening asks one question. Performance asks another
A standard panel exists to answer “is there something here that needs a doctor”. That is a critical question and it deserves a clear answer.
It is not built to answer “why do I crash at three, why has the weight stopped moving, why does my recovery feel worse than it did five years ago”. Those need a longer list.
What the wider panel covers
More than seventy biomarkers, across metabolic health, hormones, nutrient status, inflammation, blood sugar regulation and liver health.
The point of the breadth is not the number. It is that the answer is allowed to be something you were not looking for. A short panel can only confirm or rule out what it already asked about.
The results are read, not emailed
A panel that arrives as a PDF for you to interpret has moved the problem rather than solved it. Numbers without a reading are a homework assignment.
Your results get reviewed alongside your goals, your health history, your current symptoms, your lifestyle and what you have already tried, so that the plan is built on the whole picture rather than on one row of a spreadsheet.
We don't guess, we test. Nobody here gets a plan before we have seen their data.
