Why do diets stop working after a few months?
Every dietworks.Then it stops.
Most plans are built for a population and handed to a person. They work while the novelty and the restriction hold, then life gets busy and they become impossible to maintain. The failure is in the design, not in the person following it, and restricting harder does not fix a design.
The pattern almost everyone recognises
Keto. Low carb. Carnivore. Fasting. 1,800 calories. Endless cardio. Personal trainers. Supplements. Some of it worked, for a while. Then life got busy, the plan became impossible to maintain, and you ended up back where you started.
Repeating that four or five times teaches people that they are the problem. Usually they are not.
Restriction is not the same as information
Lewis Welsh was 105kg and running a business when he assumed the answer was more discipline and a stricter diet. The harder he restricted, the stronger the cravings got.
What changed it was not more willpower. It was studying what the body actually needs to work properly, and discovering he was eating plenty of calories while still not giving his body what it needed.
Restore rather than restrict
Instead of restricting harder, he started restoring what was missing. The cravings settled, the energy steadied, and control came back.
That is the principle the business is built on, and it is why nobody gets a plan here before we have seen their data. Don’t restrict. Restore.
We don't guess, we test. Nobody here gets a plan before we have seen their data.
